PASSOVER is the very first important God-ordained Festival in both the Old and New Testaments (Leviticus 23:5).

• In the FOURTEENTH DAY of the FIRST MONTH at even is the LORD'S PASSOVER. (Lev 23:5 KJV)

Passover is the process of Salvation or Redemption of all Mankind. The BLOOD of the Passover lamb typified the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, which passes over the sins of people who repent in order to spare them from Eternal Death. 

• For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will SMITE ALL THE FIRST-BORN… both man and beast. And I will execute judgments against all the gods of Egypt. I am The LORD. (Exo 12:12 MKJV)

• And the blood shall be a sign to you upon the houses where you are. And WHEN I SEE THE BLOOD, I WILL PASS OVER YOU. And the plague shall not be upon you for a destruction when I smite…Egypt. (Exo 12:13 MKJV)

• And this day shall be a memorial to you. And you shall keep it as a feast to The LORD throughout your generations. You shall KEEP IT AS A FEAST BY A LAW FOREVER. (Exo 12:14 MKJV)

• You shall EAT UNLEAVENED BREAD 7 DAYS; even the first day you shall put away leaven out of your houses. For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel. (Exo 12:15 MKJV)

EGYPT (Heb. Mitzraim) means every Slavery, Limit, Restriction, and the likes. And this modern World is exactly like that.
Every Passover Season, the Jews commemorates the Exodus from Egypt (Exodus 12:21). This is equivalent to the Holy Week celebration of the Christians who commemorate the Crucifixion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ (1Corinthians 5:7). These 2 major milestones in the history of Mankind are connected to each other. 

Everyone who does not understand Passover will not be saved at the return of Christ. This is because the commands and instructions about the keeping of Passover make you prepared and ready for the return of Christ, which means that Passover will purify you of your Evil Inclination; making you spiritually unleavened.

This Passover purification will enable you to intimately know God the Father and Christ in a FACE-To-FACE manner enabling them to know you personally. This Face-to-Face relationship qualifies you, and everyone, to receive Eternal Life (1Corinthians 13:12, John 17:3).  

• Now, we see through a glass, darkly; but then FACE TO FACE: now I know in part; but then SHALL I KNOW even as also I AM KNOWN. (1Cor 13:12 KJV)

• This is ETERNAL LIFE: that THEY MAY KNOW YOU, the only True God, and the One You have sent -- JESUS CHRIST. (Joh 17:3 HCSB) 

If you fail to really KNOW GOD THE FATHER & CHRIST, then, you also does not know The LORD God's Law, Statutes, and Judgments, making you a LAWBREAKER! You will be rejected by Christ at His return (1Corinthians 13:12, Matthew 7:21-23).  

• Then I will announce to them, 'I NEVER KNEW YOU! Depart from Me, you LAWBREAKERS!' (Mat 7:23 HCSB) 

In other words, all those who do not understand the meaning and purpose of the Passover becomes unworthy to receive its Eternal Worth and Super-Importance; therefore, they get Condemnation, instead of Salvation (1Corinthians 11:27-29).

• WHOSOEVER SHALL EAT THIS BREAD, and DRINK this cup of the Lord, UNWORTHILY, shall be guilty of the Body and Blood of The Lord. (1Cor 11:27 KJV)

• LET A MAN EXAMINE HIMSELF, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. (1Cor 11:28 KJV)

• For HE WHO EATS AND DRINKS UNWORTHILY eats and drinks condemnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. (1Cor 11:29 MKJV)

• For this cause MANY ARE WEAK and SICKLY among  YOU, and many SLEEP. (1Co 11:30 KJV)

In SUMMARY: PASSOVER is the very first important God-ordained Festival in both the Old and New Testament. Passover is the process of Salvation or Redemption of all Mankind. 

Everyone who does not know Passover will not be saved at the return of Christ. This is because the commands and instructions about the keeping of Passover make you prepared for the return of Christ. This means that Passover will enable you to personally and intimately know Christ and God the Father; which will let them know you also personally. Then, you are qualified to receive ETERNAL LIFE (1Corinthians 13:12, John 17:3).
