BEFORE THE HUMAN CHRIST, SOME HONORS OF JUDGING ISRAEL AND DELIVERANCE WERE GIVEN TO WOMEN

Because of the Sins of Israel, and before the coming of the Savior as the Human Christ, God gave the Honor of  Leadership of Israel to Women. Thus, God used Deborah as a JUDGE of Israel and to lead in the release of the sinful Israelites out of the oppression of the King of Canaan. This was when the Israelites cried to the Lord for deliverance (Judges 4:1-5).

• The CHILDREN OF ISRAEL again DID EVIL in the sight of the LORD, when Ehud was dead. (Jdg 4:1 KJV)

• And The LORD sold them into the hand of JABIN King of CANAAN...the Captain of whose host was SISERA... (Jdg 4:2 KJV)

• And THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL CRIED UNTO THE LORD: for he had 900 chariots of iron; and 20 years he mightily oppressed the Children of Israel. (Jdg 4:3 KJV)

• And DEBORAH, a PROPHETESS, the wife of Lapidoth, SHE JUDGED ISRAEL AT THAT TIME. (Jdg 4:4 KJV)

• And she dwelt under the Palm Tree...and the Children of Israel came up to her for Judgment. (Jdg 4:5 KJV)

During this time, all the Men of Israel were weak because of their sins of forsaking the LORD God. This was exemplified by the Military Leader named Barak; who will not go to war, unless Deborah went with him (Judges 4:8).

• And BARAK said unto her, IF THOU WILT GO WITH ME, THEN I WILL GO: but IF THOU WILT NOT GO WITH ME, then I WILL NOT GO. (Jdg 4:8 KJV) 

Deborah was close to God Almighty, making her a Prophetess. So, God used Deborah to lead Israel out of their oppression by the Canaanites. The credit and honor from this deliverance of the sinfull Israel was given to a Woman, which was fulfilled by Jael (Judges 4:9). 

• "I will go with you," Deborah said, "but YOU WILL RECEIVE NO HONOR on the road you are about to take, because The LORD WILL SELL SISERA INTO A WOMAN'S HAND (Jael)." (Jdg 4:9 HCSB) 

All these events led by Women happened in the Old Testament wherein Christ did not yet come as a Human Flesh and Blood. But, in the New Testament, especially, after Christ's Resurrection from His Death on the Cross, Christ and His Apostles restored the original Flow of Authority as designed in Heaven (1Corinthians 11:3).
