ABIGAIL is a model example of a Wife NOT correcting her Husband; no matter how fallen her husband may be. This submission and respect to her Husband makes Abigail very BEAUTIFUL in God's eyes (1Samuel 25:2-3, 1Peter 3:5). 

• A man in Maon had a business in Carmel; he was a very rich man with 3,000 sheep and 1,000 goats and was shearing his sheep in Carmel. (1Sam 25:2 HCSB)

• The Man's name was NABAL, and his WIFE'S name, ABIGAIL. The WOMAN WAS INTELLIGENT and  BEAUTIFUL, but the MAN, a Calebite, was HARSH and EVIL in his dealings. (1Sam 25:3 HCSB)

We can see here in 1Samuel 25 that Abigail had a Foolish Husband with many errors in Life. Nabal, his name, greatly insulted King David (1Samuel 25:10-11). As God's anointed King of Israel, David has the right to kill anyone who disrespect a God-Chosen King. 

But, Abigail claimed all the iniquity of her Husband, willing to accept and suffer whatever punishment that will result from her Husband's Sins (1Samuel 25:24).

• And Abigail fell at David’s feet and said, ON ME, MY LORD, ON ME LET THIS INIQUITY BE. (1Sa 25:24 MKJV)

If you realize, this sacrificial attitude was the same attitude of Christ the Saviour claiming the consequences of Mankind's Sins.

And God was the one who corrected and punished NABAL (1Samuel 25:37-38).

• In the morning when Nabal sobered up, his wife told him about these events. Then he had a seizure and became paralyzed. About 10 days later, The LORD STRUCK NABAL DEAD. (1Sam 25:37-38 HCSB)

After the Death of Nabal, Abigail became the Wife of the King; that is, by King David => The Root and Offspring of the Ultimate Husband-Savior of Mankind (Ephesians 5:31-32).  

And the coming Husband-Savior of Mankind will also be the KING of Kings and LORD of Lords to rule Planet Earth and the Whole Universe (1Samuel 25:40-42, Revelation 22:16).

Every righteous Wife and True Jewish Christian in Spirit should follow Abigail's example. This is because the Husband and Wife relationship in this World is only a Training Ground or Test of the Husband and Wife Relationship between the Faithful Members of the BRIDE OF CHRIST and the BRIDEGROOM (Christ) => The ultimate and supernal Husband (Isaiah 54:5, Revelation 17:14).  

The Way you treat your Husband in this World will be the Way you will treat Christ in the next World (Luke 16:10, 19:17).

• HE that is FAITHFUL IN that which is LEAST is FAITHFUL also IN MUCH: and he that is UNJUST in the LEAST is UNJUST also in MUCH. (Luk 16:10 KJV)
