The only Supreme Being is God. And as the Supreme and Almighty God He alone has no Beginning and no End. Everything begins and ends with God.
From creation it was God who created everything therefore there is absolutely no possibility at all for any other beginning except through God.
Just think about it, if you say that there is a beginning before God then there can also be an earlier beginning even before the beginning that is being referred to.......and that is totally illogical. There can be no one greater than God!
Also, there is no controversy about the nature of Christ because Jesus Christ is both Man and God and not OR.The Church is not ignorant as the Church is the source of all Truths.

You also said that "the Church is the source of all Truths." This is a LIE and contradicts the Bible. The Bible teaches that The SOURCE of ALL TRUTH is CHRIST JESUS, not the Church (John 14:6)!
