You should really clarify your points here sir, because you leave the door wide open for a broader interpretation of the type of worship that God receives. Many cultures use "sex" as a gateway to their gods or "creative life force" by which the spirit of their gods enter into them through sexual expressions

The Ark of the Covenant represented the place where God would present himself to Mankind to meet or unite in conversation, communion, conversion, redemption & renewal in the Covenant. The Mercy Seat (using Christian terminology here) was upon the Ark of the Covenant.

The Kapporet, that Mercy Seat, was the "atonement piece" (also known as the seat of grace in another tongue). It represented covering, wiping out or cleansing. There is no sexual connotation to be found in this sacred place. In fact the priests loins were to be covered approaching it. If you do a study on the Priestly Vestments you will see that the Body was completely covered.

So I disagree with your presentation of the Ark as a "marriage bed" in that respect. The Holy of Holies could only be entered on the Day of Atonement, and even then could only be entered by the Jewish High Priest, who was covenanted to do so in order to sprinkle the blood of the sacrificial offering onto the Mercy Seat. I sincerely hope that you are not advocating anything sexual takes place between God and Men or as a part of worship towards God. The relations between a Husband and a Wife point to union. Other faiths incorporated the concept of "sex" as a means of worship to the gods. It's dangerous ground to mingle the model of husband and wife's union in that respect.

There is no sexuality between God and Mankind. Marriage is used as an example of the intimacy of "union" between one party and another. The act of intimacy between spouses is the closest they can come to being one physically. God's expression of love is beyond the physical. They that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. His Spirit fills or indwells believers (read the Book of Acts). Again, nothing physical or sexual in nature.

I guess reading your post made me wonder if you advocate practices that use sex as a form of worship to God. I agree with your statements about keeping our Temples (Bodies) pure for God and the sanctity of Marriage. Those points are sound in the Scripture.

As much as I agree with the perversion issues raised, bringing the Ark in seems to me farfetched!

Sex is a Great Mystery; because it is a major component of the GREAT MYSTERY OF MARRIAGE (Ephesians 5:29-32). This is the Great Mystery of the Everlasting New (Marriage) Covenant of the Melchizedek Priesthood of Christ (Hebrews 5:5-6).

The Sins of the First Adam and his Sinful Children (Mankind) make the Everlasting Marriage Covenant to be a Mystery. This is because Mankind's Mindset had fallen to Carnality and Selfishness. But, to The ALMIGHTY GOD, Sex and Marriage are HOLY; not to be taken lightly. This means that even though we use Sex in a Physical Way, the Spiritual Holy Power of it must not be forgotten, misused, or abused.

The ARK OF THE COVENANT IS NOW IN HEAVEN, NOT ON EARTH

The TRUTH about Sex, Marriage, and the ARK of The Covenant is of Supernal Importance to the Redemption or Salvation of Mankind. This is because this Truth leads to the Pure and Faithful Everlasting Marriage Covenant or Relationship between CHRIST and His BRIDE.

Their "MARRIAGE BED" is the ARK OF THE COVENANT, which is now in Heaven. This means that our Mindset must now be Spiritual and elevated to Heaven (Revelation 11:19, Romans 6:4-6, Colossians 3:1-2).

• God's Temple that is in HEAVEN was opened, and the ARK OF THE LORD'S COVENANT was seen in His Temple. (Rev 11:19 HNV)

• If then you were raised with Christ, SEEK THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE ABOVE, where Christ is sitting at the Right Hand of God. (Col 3:1 MKJV)

• BE MINDFUL OF THINGS ABOVE, NOT on things on the Earth. (Col 3:2 MKJV)

To say it plainly, SEX is our Spiritual Union to Christ and TRUE SALVATION IS SPIRITUAL MARRIAGE TO CHRIST (Isaiah 54:5, Ephesians 5:31:32, 1Corinthians 6:15-17, 2Corinthians 11:2).

This is why Sexual Immorality is the only valid reason allowed by Christ for Divorce and Separation of Marriage.  Sexual Immorality and Adultery are equivalent to IDOLATRY in the Spiritual Dimension (Matthew 19:3-9).

• CHRIST answered…He who made them at the Beginning "made them MALE and FEMALE", (Mat 19:4 MKJV)

• Therefore THEY ARE NO LONGER TWO, BUT ONE flesh...what God has joined together, let not man separate. (Mat 19:6 MKJV)

• ...Because of your hard-heartedness Moses allowed you to put away your wives; but FROM The BEGINNING IT WAS NOT SO. (Mat 19:8 MKJV)

• …whoever DIVORCES his wife, except for SEXUAL IMMORALITY, and marries another, commits ADULTERY." (Mat 19:9 HCSB)

IGNORANCE of this Spiritual Great Mystery of Sex and Marriage caused the corruption and downfall of all this World's Christians, Jews, Churches, Religions, and Nations. This makes the 21st Century End-Time Generation to become Evil and Adulterous (Matthew 12:39, 16:4, Mark 8:38).
