Does my wife has the right to correct me? You can see the answers clearly now. YES!

As far as the word of God is concerned it has nothing to do with the correcting of wife to husband. 1corinthians 11:3-16 simply says the headship of God, Christ, Man, Church.

In the first place we are all unrighteous, ALL have sinned and fall short in the Glory of God either man or woman. romans 3. AGREE? Yes!

So why should we accept correction from the unrighteous? unless.. All scriptures is God-breathed and useful for correcting ...in RIGHTEOUSNESS (2Timothy 3). Yes! unless it comes from the righteousness of the Lord Jesus. Either husband, wife, children, brothers, sisters. Because it is the will of the Lord that we may walk in rightousness of the Lord.

Do I contradict Ephesians 5:22? Totally no! As far your relationship with the Lord is concern we are all subject to His Righteousness and acceptance of correction from the Lord THRU the one He uses to correct you. Correction from the Lord.. are the way of life, heeds correction is honored and gain understanding. Proverbs 6,13,15.

Do we not want honor from the Lord? Or gain understanding from the Lord? Or walk the way of life? Who hates correction is stupid! (this is general). Ignores correction leads others astray! (no wonder).

Mr. Dickson, I want to help you see the Pure Words and Truth of God, without the polluted Human Reasoning.

The subject of the wife submitting to her husband in Ephesians 5:22 is the AUTHORITY OF THE HUSBAND over his Wife, as instituted by GOD (Genesis 3:16). It is NOT about who sin or who is righteous.

• WIVES, SUBMIT YOURSELVES unto your OWN HUSBANDS, as unto the Lord. (Eph 5:22 KJV)

You admitted that you allow yourself to be corrected by your wife, or in other words, you let your wife to rule over you. By this, you disobeyed and rebelled against God's command in Genesis 3:16.

• To the woman God said…YOUR DESIRE shall be toward YOUR HUSBAND, and HE SHALL RULE OVER YOU. (Gen 3:16 MKJV) 

Your kind of Reasoning is the kind of Reasoning that caused Adam to sin. The First Adam allowed his Wife (Eve) to RULE OVER HIM. Adam knew that God commanded that he should NOT eat from the Fruit of the forbidden TREE OF KNOWLEDGE (Genesis 2:17, 1Timothy 2:14). 

Now, comes his Wife Eve telling him that he should eat the Fruit from that TREE (Genesis 3:6). By listening to his wife, instead of listening to God, Adam committed the First Human Sin (Genesis 3:17).

• And to Adam GOD said, Because YOU HAVE LISTENED TO THE VOICE OF YOUR WIFE and have eaten of the TREE, of which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat of it! The ground is CURSED for your sake. In PAIN shall you eat of it all the days of your life. (Gen 3:17 MKJV)

By this, you are showing to God as like ADAM; that you will also rebel against GOD. This is a very serious matter for you. This kind of thinking is fit for Hell, not in the Garden of Eden. You have to think about this over and over again.

Dickson Thank you for the response. Please read my comments again. It is not my words, it comes from the Bible, that is why I put verses and most of them are quoted from Proverbs. Is it not words and truth of God? If you say those words are polluted by humans then you are not believing what the Lord says.

God rebuke me if i did not speak for His glory. It is all about righteousness of the Lord if we talk about correction as you stated in this post.

Yes we have authority over our wife but we are still subject in correction. The Authority that was given to man is leading to the Lord's righteousness. Righteousness will always brings us to the foot of the cross. How can we lead our wife to the Lord if we cannot accept "correction from the Lord" tru our very own wife? Accepting "correction from the Lord" thru our wife doesn't mean ruling over us. In fact, it is always leading to the Lord's righteousness and living with his very word.

 Lope Columna Mr. Dickson, you don't know what you are saying. You said that you quoted words that came from the Bible. I also quoted words from the Bible. But just quoting words from the Bible does not mean that it is already the Truth you are saying.

The crux of the matter is, do you understand the verses you are quoting? Have you not read the scenario wherein Satan quoted Scriptures to fight Christ? Christ corrected Satan by quoting the Right Scriptures with the proper meaning and application, and Satan surrendered with shame.

By your own admission (in your last paragraph), YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND! You admitted that you are ignorant of the Bible! What's your right to quote Scriptures you don't understand! What is the point of discussing God's Truth with you? It is just a waste of time!
