Lope Columna @Monty F Stamps. Just like many Pastors, Priests, and Churches, who don't know God's Messianic Kabbalah Wisdom, you are misinterpreting/twisting what Christ said (2Peter 3:15-16).  

There are two (2) categories of Christ's Coming to the Earth. 

1. Christ's First Coming as the Son of Joseph.
2. Christ's 2nd Coming as the Son of King David.

Just like Joseph who was sold and suffered in Egypt, Christ's also suffered in His 1st Coming (in the Human Flesh). Christ's Forerunner at this First Coming is John the Baptist (with the decreased Spirit and Power of Elijah). 

But, the Forerunner of Christ's 2nd Coming, is someone with the DOUBLE PORTION of the Spirit and Power of Elijah. In other words, the End-Time ELISHA with the INCREASED PORTION of the Spirit and Power of ELIJAH will appear in our 21st Century End-time generation. This is to prepare the way for the Glorious 2nd Coming of Christ as the MESSIAH, The Son of King David!

This "Dreadful Day of The LORD" did not happen in the time of John the Baptist.
