Q107: "As For Masturbation, There is Also No Direct Condemnation of It in The Bible."



Love Asera: As for masturbation, there is also no direct condemnation of it in the bible. Onan's story is not even masturbation if we read the story. However, the bible tells Christians to 'deaden body members related to all selfish fleshly desires, sexual appetite.' while it also talks about a man's struggle in trying to do it... even Paul himself struggled (Romans 7:23)... so I think, what matters is a man's effort to stop, instead of just tolerating it. He can do it gradually with the help of prayers and people who do not instantly condemn him as evil rather help him gain the needed strength to win his battle.



SEX MYTH 2: "As for masturbation, there is also no direct condemnation of it in the Bible."

SEX TRUTH 2: It seems that you are ignorant of the Scriptures. The following Bible verses show that masturbation is wrong and is condemned by the Bible.
  • Flee from sexual immorality! "Every sin a person can commit is outside the body," but the person who is sexually immoral sins against his own body. (1Co 6:18)
  • Do you not know that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body. (1Co 6:19-20)
Do you think that a masturbating person glorifies God in his body? Of course not! Do you think the Holy Spirit will dwell in such an immoral person? Of course not!

We are told to flee sexual immorality. And masturbation is one form of sexual immorality that everyone should flee, because it defiles the human body, which is the Temple of God! Otherwise, God will destroy that person who defiles his/her body!
  • Do you not know that you are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? (1Co 3:16 MKJV)
  • IF ANYONE DEFILES THE TEMPLE OF GOD, GOD SHALL DESTROY HIM. For the temple of God is holy, which you are. Let no one deceive himself (1Co 3:17-18 MKJV).
Masturbation defiles the human body, which is now considered by God as His Temple.

THE TERRIFYING FUTURE OF THE SEXUALLY IMMORAL

According to the Zohar, when a man or woman dies, he/she is judged in the next world; his/her deeds are examined. If one, while in this world, impaired, spoiled, and abused the secret of the holy covenant (sex) stamped in his/her flesh, he/she is sentenced to be excluded from the community of mankind, and from those who were given eternal life.

He is given to the OTHER SIDE, that is, the IMPURE SIDE, which has no part in the secret of man. When he is delivered to that side, woe to him or her, for he/she is put in GEHINOM (HELL).

These stay apart from mankind; they were left out of Humanity. This is true only for those who did not repent completely.

HOW TO AVOID THE TERRIFYING PUNISHMENT OF THE SEXUALLY IMMORAL PEOPLE
  • Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. (Rom 6:12 KJV)
  • Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. (Rom 6:13 KJV)
  • For this is God's will, your sanctification: that YOU ABSTAIN FROM SEXUAL IMMORALITY, so that each of you knows how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor,  (1Th 4:3-4)
  • NOT WITH LUSTFUL DESIRES, like the Gentiles who don't know God.  (1Th 4:5)
  • Flee from sexual immorality! (1Co 6:18)
