Love Asera: estoryahee....hehe..   But seriously, it seems this bible account is about preserving offspring, as required under the mosaic law, but Onan refused to raise up a seed for his deceased brother...so the evil thing is not the wasting of his semen, but it is his refusal to produce offspring. 

Also, if wasting semen is such an evil thing, then all men are evil since all of them have 'nocturnal emissions' or wet dreams especially during puberty period.

As for masturbation, there is also no direct condemnation of it in the bible, Onan's story is not even masturbation if we read the story. However, the bible tells Christians to 'deaden body members related to all selfish fleshly desires, sexual appetite.' while it also talks about a man's struggle in trying to do it... even Paul himself struggled (Romans 7:23)... so I think, what matters is a man's effort to stop, instead of just tolerating it. He can do it gradually with the help of prayers and people who do not instantly condemn him as evil rather help him gain the needed strength to win his battle.
   
As for contraception and birth control for married couples, there is also nothing in the bible that is against it, but it does talk not only about sex for procreation but for pleasure as well. Birth control is not available in the olden times and in the olden times, populating the earth is mandated by God. these modern times, if a couple's conscience allow them to use contraception in good faith no one can judge them, and no one can judge those who prefer natural means of family planning.

The 'scene of the world is changing', sometimes we have to adapt to modern means if it does not harm any life. That Genesis account is not even applicable in our times now.... a lot of churches do not even allow widows to marry her brother in law, let alone a man doing premarital sex with his sister-in-law.....


Lope Columna: Ms. Asera, your human reasoning is typical of man's polluted teachings about the Bible that make the Word of God of no effect (Mark 7:13). The polluted doctrines and traditions of men usually pervert God's Scriptures, "making the Word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have delivered. And you do many such things." (Mark 7:13 MKJV)
Let me dissect and rectify your statements of myths.

SEX MYTH 1.1: "So the evil thing is not the wasting of his semen, but it is his refusal to produce offspring."

SEX TRUTH 1.1: You contradict yourself, because the "wasting of semen" is an act of refusal to produce offspring because the semen is meant only to produce offspring and nothing else.

SEX MYTH 1.2: "Also if wasting semen is such an evil thing, then all men are evil since all of them have 'nocturnal emissions' or wet dreams especially during puberty period."

SEX TRUTH 1.2: Generally speaking, all men (and women) are evil, except Jesus Christ. 
  • "For ALL HAVE SINNED, and come short of the glory of God" (Rom 3:23 KJV). 
Sin is evil, therefore, all men (and women) are evil (Matthew 7:11, Luke 11:13).

But of course, that evil could be erased if a man or woman repents and God forgives him/her.

BUT NOT ALL MEN HAVE "WET DREAMS." THE PURE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD PREVENTS SEXUAL LUSTS

Also, please be informed that wet dreams and nocturnal emissions are due to the sexual lusts developed by a man during his waking hours. Now, it is almost impossible for man to escape from the strong grasp of sexual lust if he has little knowledge or no knowledge about the true Creator God (1Thes 4:5). A man that has the holy knowledge of God coupled with his pure determination to obey God; that man (or woman) can overcome sexual lusts, and therefore, he will not have "wet dreams" anymore.
  • For this is God's will, your sanctification: that YOU ABSTAIN FROM SEXUAL IMMORALITY, so that each of you knows how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor,  (1Th 4:3-4 HCSB)
  • NOT WITH LUSTFUL DESIRES, like the Gentiles who don't know God.  (1Th 4:5 HCSB)

Joseph Loh how to kill the demon in me & let the spirit of God filled me?
the demon has taken root in my sexual desire to commit such sin again & again. when such desire come, i lost my self control to a large extend, how to unroot it completely? and how to let the Spirit of God filled me wholly till it has no room or space for the devil spirit?

    In former times men's virility was far stronger. Men got women pregnant with one dollop of semen. Examples: Abraham and Hagar (Sarah his wife was Abe's half sister; their union was sterile), Judah and Tamar.
    Semen coagulated on a womanwoman's cervix and stayed there for a long time, givng the sperms plenty of time to find the cervical os (opening). The seminal fluid ("semen") wasbabsorbed by her vagina into her bloodstream and interstitia. Sperms are found in a woman's brain, which gives an idea why women are not supposed to have multiple sex partners (beyond "God Says, "NO!").
    Seminal fluid, being entirely absorbed, did not run down and dribble out, so "uncleanness" did not occur.
    To minimize leakage of our weak, thin semen of now a man should thrust to full depth in the woman to place his semen as far as he can. She should remain horizontal so that the weak, runny semen won't leak out and pollute her and the bedclothes.
    Sperm density and count have plummeted over the last century and it isn't getting any better. Feminism has crept into the church, inciting women to demand to speak in the assembly, wear men's clothes, in short, "wear the pants." God warned us that the woman has a rebellious streak in her, inherited from the insubordinate Eve (Chavvah = "mother of all"). Men are irdained to rule. Women are ordained to submit, obey andnto serve men. In God-fearing societies women did as Sarah, who called Abraham "ba'ali" (lord, master, owner) and was called a "holy woman of old."
    "ED" (impotence) seems to be pandemic these days. Abraham had no problem doing his duty in Hagar, and after Sarah died he bought Keturah and had several sons when he was over 100. He didn't need any "Viagra!"

    At any moment the church is around 100 years from extinction if "Christian" persist in refusing to build up the church through their wombs. The church of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is under attack from pagans, Muslims, Jews and false "Christians".

    Normal sexual relations with one's wife stimulates the production of seminal fluid. The lining of the passages that carry sperms from the testicles to the urethra continually produce certain types of seminal fluid. The fluid is stored in the seminal vesicles ("little vessels") near the prostate gland just before the seminal ducts meet the urethra.
    A man who has no sexual activity produces seminal fluid at a lesser rate than a man who is sexually active. But eventually his seminal vesicles are full and distended.
    At the same time the prostate gland produces a small amount of its type of seminal fluid, causing the gland to swell.
    When both of these accumulations of fluid reach a maximum,the ejaculatory reflex is triggered to empty the respective storages. Thus "spontaneous emission" occurs automatically. If it takes place at night we call it "nocturnal (nighttime) emission."
    This is a natural operation of the male body that cannot be restrained by conscious effort. While conscious sexual lusts will induce spontaneous emission more often, as will the frequent (natural) sexual intercourse strongly encouraged by apostle Paul, simply experiencing sexual urges is not sinful in any way as they are instilled in us to encourage us to marry and to generate a Godly seed (offspring) as servants to the great King.
    Being near to women of reproductive age excites the sex urge in men from puberty into extreme old age. Women express scents during their five or six fertile days preceding ovulation that are not consciously perceived. This lines up with the guidance of scripture: no intercourse during menstruation and for seven days following (the "purification" period). Also any time that a bloody fluid issues from the vagina, for forty days following birthing a male, eighty days following birthing a female (the hormones are different).
