Q677: Does GOD Create Darkness and Evil?

Reactions from the Article: Q141: IS THERE ANYTHING GOD CAN NOT DO? I Stand On The Point That Nothing is Impossible With God. But One of My Teachers Argue With Me, and Wrote Down That God Can Not Do Sin. That God Can Not Force Any One, and So On. How Will I Answer This Question? Please Help.

When we are talking about God being able to do anything it means He holds all power. Like walking on water, healing the sick, and raising the dead.

It has nothing to do with Him being able to do all things freely. For we know God can not break His word. He is held to the same standard He holds us too, otherwise He becomes a hypocrite.

Jeremiah Wiltse I can prove to you that God can not do anything He wants. He says the word of the Lord endures forever. If God breaks it than He would be a liar right?
You don't understand who God is. For He does no evil, nor can He. Read God's word if you think I'm a liar, for His word says God can not sin, neither can He tempt man. Want Scripture and verse.
 
Lope Columna Jeremiah, your man-made belief is limiting God, which is the very sin of the Israelites in the Wilderness (Psalms 78:40-41). 

• How often they provoked Him in the Wilderness, and grieved Him in the Desert! Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and LIMITED THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL. (Psa 78:40-41 KJV)

You also challenged and invited the WRATH OF GOD, when you said, "He does no evil, nor can He." This sinful declaration of yours directly challenged God's warning in Zephaniah 1:12.

Jeremiah Wiltse Thank you for your opinions but if they are not in God they matter little to me. I speak to you His word do you believe the Bible? The Bible also says in God there is no darkness but only LIGHT. He that says he is in God and walks in darkness does not know the truth. So another thing God can not do is be filled with darkness.
 
Lope Columna Your statements show that you don't even know the Bible! Your question, "DO YOU BELIEVE THE BIBLE?" should be directed to yourself. 

You again show your ignorance about God and His Bible, when you said, "another thing God can not do is be filled with darkness." The Truth is that God has made DARKNESS AS ONE OF HIS COVERING (2Samuel 22:12). 

• He made Darkness coverings around Him, Dark waters, thick clouds of the skies. (2Sam 22:12 MKJV)

God said in Isaiah 45:7 that He created Darkness and Evil; and yet you contradicted it.

• I form the LIGHT, and create DARKNESS: I make PEACE, and create EVIL: I The LORD do all these things. (Isa 45:7 KJV)
