Q133: HOW DOES GOD CALL A MAN TO HIS MINISTRY? HOW CAN A PASTOR, PRIEST, OR EVANGELIST BECOME A TRUE MINISTER OF GOD?

Hi, Lope, Mr. HWA mentioned in his autobiography, volume 2 chapter 50 page 141, he said; "If God does call a man to His ministry, that man will try to run from it -- as Jonah did, Moses & Jeremiah (even HWA himself). But if a man decides for himself that he wants to be a leader or a minister, invariably time and the fruits demonstrate that Christ never called him."

Lope Columna Manuel, the autobiography of HWA is not the Bible, nor his statements are the Words of God! HWA mentioned some servants of God who ran away from God's service; but the Bible also records MANY SERVANTS OF GOD THAT DID NOT RUN AWAY from their calling: Joshua, David, Elijah, John the Baptist, Peter, Paul, etc. that zealously perform the jobs assigned to them by God. 

Today, God will call and use anybody to serve Him and His Ministry of Life and Honor; that is, everyone who purifies himself from the lusts and impurities of this evil and impure world (2Tim 2:21)!

• In a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honor, and some to dishonor.  (2Tim 2:20 MKJV)

• Therefore, if anyone purges himself from these, he shall be a vessel to honor, sanctified and useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.  (2Tim 2:21 MKJV)

• Flee youthful lusts, and follow righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.  (2Tim 2:22 MKJV)

And, in our time today, which is the END OF THE END-TIME, God is choosing and using the "NOBODY's" of this world, to perform and fulfill His Great and Final Wonderful Work (1Cor 1:27-29), just before the glorious return of King Messiah -- Jesus Christ!

God has chosen the world's insignificant and despised things--the things viewed as nothing--so He might bring to nothing the things that are viewed as something, so that no one can boast in His presence.
