Q487: I Have Been on Vicodin For Years For Pain; and Was Wondering If That's OK? Or Should I Ask For Non-Narcotic?

Hi, Lope, I had a question about narcotic pain medication.

I have been on Vicodin for years for pain and was wondering if that's ok? Or should I ask for non-narcotic?

Thank you!

 NAME WITHHELD

Lope Columna: If you can ask the source/s of the Vicodin, you can know whether it is OK to use or not. This is because some sources of drugs and pain-killers are from non-kosher animals and insects.

Yes, it's better to use non-narcotics if there is one available.

I also suggest that you have some exercise; especially, that of walking in a fresh air environment under sunshine in the morning.

Nevertheless, have hope that there will be a time coming that your pain and everyone's pain will be completely healed and be NO MORE. This is promised by our loving God in Revelation 21:4.
  • And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more deathNEITHER SHALL THERE BE ANY MORE PAIN: for the FORMER THINGS ARE PASSED AWAY. (Rev 21:4 KJV)
ANONYMOUS: Thank you, I will check it out about the kosher sources. We are gonna start going outside with our grandson next week and do a little yard work. It has been freezing a couple weeks ago and since then it is raining a lot but looks good for next week.

And the new grand baby is gonna be born in May and it will be a little girl then we can go for walks and push the stroller. We are so excited.

The whole world seems to be in bigger turmoil. May He come back in MERCY!!! And may we wake Him from sleep mode and His Kingdom come. And His Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
