Q05: WHAT HAPPENED IF ADAM DID NOT EAT THE FRUIT OF THE FORBIDDEN TREE? WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Let's see once again how sharp is your spiritual insight: In the Garden of Eden, EVE ate first from the forbidden Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. She then gave the forbidden fruit to her husband, ADAM. And Adam did eat. 

Question: What Do You Think Happened IF ADAM DID NOT EAT THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT?

Stanley Castro: The Vessel could not have been shattered if not for that sin, for the Vessel of Adam Kadmon shattered after the Sin of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. And out of that vessel would be the humanity itself. The negative thing is, because of that sin the Klipah or the Yetser Hara was created.

If Adam did not eat the fruit, the soul of humanity would never be formed. And surely, the Torah would never be revealed because of this. And the Formation of the Sefirot can never be completed without the Patriarchs and the rest being born. 

You, Kuya Lope, what is your insight?

Lope Columna: OK, Stanley, thanks for your comments. If Adam did not eat the fruit from the forbidden tree, then man have avoided the pain, sufferings, and death. 

You said that "the soul of humanity would never be formed." This is not so, as it is written: 

• And the LORD God formed MAN (ADAM) of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and Man became a LIVING SOUL (Gen 2:7). 

So, the soul of man was already formed before the sin.

Concerning the Sefirot, even before Adam sinned they were already created and in place. The Zohar teaches that the 6 days of creation in Genesis are the 6 sefirot of Zeir Anpin. The 7th day Sabbath is the Malchut, the Queen. And with the first 3 sefirot from Aba and Ima, Zeir Anpin was complete with the Ten Sefirot. By the way, Zein Anpin is the one that became Jesus Christ!

The shattering of the vessel was intentional as designed by the Creator God. This is not due to sin. This is to give Man the opportunity to rebuild those shattered vessel and take part in the management of all Creation, as it is God's desire to make Man His partner in Creation. 

If Adam did not eat the fruit, then he and Mankind -- his offsprings, would have an easy and early way to rebuild the shattered vessel of creation, especially that the Creator GOD Himself is partnering with Man in the management of ALL THE UNIVERSES (Multiverses). 

Lope Columna: Stanley, let me add this. You also said, "And surely, the Torah would never be revealed because of this." The biblical logic as it is written, does not go toward this direction.

If Adam did not eat from the forbidden Tree of Death, surely he would have eaten from the Tree of Life, which is not forbidden, but even encouraged by God. And the TREE OF LIFE is the TORAH in its wholeness or totality; and this includes the supernal Messianic Kabbalah.

So, this means that if Adam did not eat from the Tree of Death, the TORAH or TREE OF LIFE would have been revealed to him and all Mankind, right there and then!

By the way, the fruit of the forbidden Tree is NOT an APPLE. It is the FIG TREE, as revealed by the holy Zohar.
