Q13: IS MORALITY ROOTED TO THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL, A CREATION OF THE PRIMORDIAL SERPENT? How Can Adam "KNEW" Eve Without Eating From the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Can They Produce Children Using the Eitz Chayyim?

Is morality rooted in to the Tree of Knowledge of Good And Evil, a creation of the primordial serpent?

-- Stanley Castro

Lope Columna: Ganun nga. Exactly. The Zohar says that the reason why the Serpent tempted Eve, and not Adam, is because the Serpent saw Adam and Eve in a romantic situation, such that the Serpent desired Eve. That's the beginning of immorality. It is wrong and immoral for couples to be seen romantic in public!

Stanley: Yup, i totally agree. So that how it goes.

Lope: Yes. does that answer your question?

Stanley: Some how Kuya, now I see that the first seed of immorality was from the Serpent's temptation of Eve, as we all know. And that sprouted immorality.

But how will Adam "knew" Eve without eating to the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, can they produce children using the Eitz Chayyim?

Lope: That is a common question I encountered. If you check Genesis, you will see that the command to "be fruitful and multiply" is BEFORE the sin of eating from the forbidden tree. So that means that if Adam did not eat from the forbidden tree, he will still have children.

Stanley: Now that makes me remember that zivugim is possible through the Eitz Chayim, Zivugim of Zeir Anipin and Nukva, right?

Thank you Kuya.

Lope: RIGHT!

Stanley: That is why, Sexual Union is sacred. Joining of the Bridegroom and the Bride. The Shechinah HaKadosh and Zeir Anpin.

Toddah Kuya, many thanks.

Lope: OK, Welcome!
