Is Azazel same as this Evil One who has corrupted the Earth with his lies and all bad things called Lucifer?

2. Azazel
3. EGO
4. Yetzer Hara
5. Abaddon
6. Apollyon
7. Great Dragon
8. Old Serpent
9. Devil
10. God of this World
11. Angel of the Bottomless Pit
12. etc. (Revelation 9:11, 12:7-9)

And they had a King over them, the ANGEL of the Bottomless Pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is ABADDON, but in Greek his name is APOLLYON. (Rev 9:11 MKJV)

Lope Columna Yes. According to the Jewish Sages, the Man or God (Elohim) that wrestled with Jacob all Night is Satan; the God (Elohim) of this present World (Genesis 32:24-30, 2Corinthians 4:4). And SATAN is the Minister or Angel of Esau.

So, when JACOB asked the name of the Angel (Elohim) whom he defeated (Genesis 32:25), he answered, "WHY DO YOU ASK MY NAME? (Genesis 32:29).

• Then Jacob asked Him, "Please TELL ME YOUR NAME." But He answered, "WHY DO YOU ASK MY NAME?" (Gen 32:29 HCSB)

That is, Satan did not answer Jacob directly because he (Satan) has many names.
