Q343: Do You Think MATTHEW 15:11 and ACTS 10: 11-14 Reveals That We Have Discretion To Eat and Drink Without Observing Supernal Law and Following The Saints of The Old Testament?

Do you think MATTHEW 15:11 and ACTS 10: 11-14 reveals that we have discretion to EAT and DRINK without observing supernal LAW and following the Saints of the Old Testament?

Lope Columna: Don't listen to carnal Churches and their Pastors who misinterpret God's Scriptures to justify their own lusts and disobedience to God's Laws and Commandments. The subject of Matthew 15:11 is not about eating unclean food, but about washing or not washing of the hands before eating (Matthew 15:1-2).
  • The Scribes and Pharisees who were from Jerusalem came to Jesus, saying, Why do your Disciples transgress the tradition of the Elders? For THEY DO NOT WASH THEIR HANDS WHEN THEY EAT BREAD. (Mat 15:1-2 MKJV)
And the subject of Acts 10:11-14 is not about eating unclean food but about the acceptance of Gentiles to the Jewish Church or Citizenship of Israel.
  • And Peter saw the Heaven opened and a certain vessel like a sheet coming down to him, being bound at the four corners and let down to the Earth; in which were all the four-footed animals of the Earth, and the wild beasts, and the reptiles, and the birds of the Heaven. (Act 10:11-12 MKJV)
  • And a voice came to him, saying, Rise, Peter! Kill and Eat! But Peter said, Not so, Lord, for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean. (Act 10:13-14 MKJV)
  • And the VOICE spoke to him again the 2nd time, WHAT GOD HAS MADE CLEAN, YOU DO NOT CALL COMMON. (Act 10:15 MKJV)
  • This happened 3 TIMES, and the vessel was received up again into the Heaven. (Act 10:16 MKJV)
  • …behold, the Men who were sent from Cornelius...called and asked if...Peter was staying there. (Act 10:17-18 MKJV)
  • And while Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said to him, Behold, 3 MEN are looking for you. Therefore arise and...go with them without doubting, for I HAVE SENT THEM. (Act 10:19-20 MKJV)
Previously, Gentiles are considered unclean by God and the Jews. But the sufferings and death of Christ on the cross cleansed these unclean Gentiles; making them qualified to join the Jewish Church (Ephesians 2:13-20).
  • Now, in Christ Jesus, you who were far away have been brought near by the blood of the Messiah. For He is our peace, who made both groups one and tore down the dividing wall of hostility. (Eph 2:13-14 HCSB)
  • He did this so that He might reconcile both to God in one body through the cross and put the hostility to death by it. (Eph 2:16 HCSB)
  • When Christ came, He proclaimed the Good News of Peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. (Eph 2:17-18 HCSB)
  • So then you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow Citizens with the Saints, and members of God's Household, BUILT on the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone. (Eph 2:19-20 HCSB)
Cornelius and his camp are the first Gentiles accepted by God to join the Jewish Church (Acts 10:15-20).

Mukhtar Masih Gill: Hallelujah, some Pastors and Catholics confuse simple people like me. Thank you for guidance. Stay blessed always.
