Q112: PEOPLE WERE CREATED BY GOD TO BE UPRIGHT, BUT WHY DID THEY ENDED UP WITH TWISTED MINDS (Ecclesiastes 7:29)?



PEOPLE WERE CREATED BY GOD TO BE UPRIGHT, BUT THEY ENDED UP WITH TWISTED MINDS!  WHY?
  • I did learn one thing: We were completely honest when God created us, but now we have twisted minds.  (Ecc 7:29 CEV)
How did people come to their many worldly destructive concepts and actions that harm themselves and the environment? How did people ended up with their twisted minds? 
The root reason is because people removed the pure knowledge of God from their education, careers, businesses, leadership, and management practices.
EVEN THE WORLD'S CHURCHES AND RELIGIONS REMOVED GOD FROM THEIR TEACHINGS AND DOCTRINES!
And, believe it or not, these include their Churches and Religions, replacing God's pure and complete truths with their impure man-made traditions and doctrines (Mark 7:7-9)!
  • They worship Me in vain, teaching as doctrines the commands of men.  (Mar 7:7 HCSB)
  • Disregarding the command of God, you keep the tradition of men."  (Mar 7:8 HCSB)
  • He also said to them, "You completely invalidate God's command in order to maintain your tradition!  (Mar 7:9 HCSB)
  •  And because THEY DID NOT THINK IT WORTHWHILE TO HAVE GOD IN THEIR KNOWLEDGE, God delivered them over to a worthless mind to do what is morally wrong.  (Rom 1:28 HCSB)
  • They are filled with all unrighteousness, evil, greed, and wickedness. They are full of envy, murder, disputes, deceit, and malice. They are gossips,  (Rom 1:29)
  • slanderers, God-haters, arrogant, proud, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents,  (Rom 1:30)
  • undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, and unmerciful.  (Rom 1:31)
  • Although THEY KNOW FULL WELL GOD'S JUST SENTENCE -- that those who practice such things deserve to die -- they not only do them, but even applaud others who practice them.  (Rom 1:32 HCSB)
As a result, the wicked Evil Inclination from the Evil side of the forbidden Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, deceived and overpowered them, and their hearts became deceitful and desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9).
THE HEART IS DECEITFUL above all things, AND DESPERATELY WICKED: who can know it?  (Jer 17:9 KJV)

Lope Columna: Ms. Asera, your religious belief and biblical understanding are totally polluted by men's teachings and doctrines. Prayer and soft judgment or no judgment at all, just cannot solve the problem we are talking about. 

THE EVIL INCLINATION IS THE ENERGY SOURCE OF STRONG NEGATIVE JUDGMENTS

The sexual lust is a very strong force to reckon with. And the powerful Evil Inclination of every person is the energy source of strong negative judgments. You have to educate the people with the powerful and pure Word of God. This is the only way to counteract the Evil Inclination. This is the only way to give them the needed strength to overcome lusts. 

And describe it as it is. When it is Black, say that it is Black; don't make it appear gray, or some other colors. Otherwise, you are just helping wickedness to increase.

Love Asera: I do not think I am helping the wicked to increase because personally I try my best to contribute good to the society and live a moral life as possible as I can. What I do not want to appear is 'holier than thou.' I'm just saying each one has his own struggles of sin, and it takes compassion and the right means to reach the hearts of the wicked to really change and see the light. But yet, I still think 'wicked' is such a heavy word to label those using birth control or condoms ( I'm referring to those moral married couples). 

I just think this birth control issue is a conscience matter and if my married friends think it bothers their conscience to use them, I will support them, but I will not look down on those friends who, out of good faith use these means to plan their family future.

What a foolish and unbiblical reasoning! Where did you get this faulted reasoning of yours? It is a contradiction of God's Scripture in Ecclesiastes 1:9.

Love Asera: As for contraception and birth control for married couples, there is also nothing in the bible that is against it, but it does talk not only about sex for procreation but for pleasure as well. Birth control is not available in the olden times and in the olden times, populating the earth is mandated by God.

And how does the Holy Spirit that dwells inside the body reacts? No wonder the Holy God promised to destroy everyone that favors RH BILL and all those unholy contraceptives! This is a very serious stuff!

SEX TRUTH 2: It seems that you are ignorant of the Scriptures. The following Bible verses show that masturbation is wrong and is condemned by the Bible.
  • Flee from sexual immorality! "Every sin a person can commit is outside the body," but the person who is sexually immoral sins against his own body. (1Co 6:18)
  • Do you not know that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body. (1Co 6:19-20)
Do you think that a masturbating person glorifies God in his body? Of course not! Do you think the Holy Spirit will dwell in such an immoral person? Of course not!

We are told to flee sexual immorality. And masturbation is one form of sexual immorality that everyone should flee, because it defiles the human body, which is the Temple of God! Otherwise, God will destroy that person who defiles his/her body!

I want to know about my business of selling herbs; I have my herbs in a new age store and they do tarot card readings and things of this nature. Also, my husband Dirk does signs and we have a job from a church that wants us to do a banner for people to come back to Sunday worship at their church. We want to know if we should not do these jobs? Thank You!!

Thanks for your latest question. With regard to your business of selling herbs to that new age store doing Tarot card readings, I suggest that you avoid such store. The main goal of our lives today is to be pure in God's eyes, as this is a requirement to be part of Christ's entourage when He returns. Tarot card reading is part of the impure Kabbalah practices that God prohibits.

With regard to your husband Dick; it is the same. Making a banner to remind people to attend pagan Church services on Sundays is like participating in that pagan worship; even though it is just a business. It is like the business of making sculptured idols of wood and stone, like the sculpture of the infant "Jesus" and Mary; and selling them to idolaters. 

IDOLATRY IS THE GREATEST IMPURITY

God is Pure; and He Wants Us to Be Pure Like Him! Therefore, God Commands Us to Avoid and Get Away From All Sorts and Styles of Idolatry.

Even though, we don't worship idols, but if we make a business of idolatry of other people, that is really awkward, and we are giving Satan the chance to accuse us before God. To be safe and pure, we must avoid these spots and blemishes. Anyway, God can always open doors and ideas of pure great business opportunities for us. The following Scriptures support what I'm saying:

  • Then He shall give the rain for your seed, with which you sow the ground. And the bread of the produce of the earth also shall be fat and plentiful. In that day your cattle shall feed in large pastures.  (Isa 30:23 MKJV)

We agree wholeheartedly with your answer to what we perceived to be a difficult question, God put it in our hearts to start, then Lola wrote to seek your advice and the rest is now history, I myself have sent the e-mail to the congregation that I was to do the banner for. The following is my e-mail to them.

A discussion with my Rabbi came up concerning the banner I was doing for you and your congregation, I myself and Lola (Wife) are messianic believers in Yeshuah.  We concern ourselves with Torah study the keeping of all of the Festivals of YHVH.  We also keep Sabbath (Saturday) for our day of rest as God commands us.

We know that Constantine started pagan Sunday worship.  With all the pagan holidays Christmas and Easter.  I now cannot in good conscience do work for what I believe to be totally against the word of God.  To advertise for a Sunday serving people is against our belief.

I have prayed about this, discussed it over and over, it is for me the right thing to do.

Personally both Lola and myself like you and you would always be welcome to stop by, I know we both read the same bible, we just have different interpretations.  There are many of us coming out of the church, to new revelations and truths concerning our God and His Word.
