Q592: Genesis Says That God Created The World and All The Things in 6 Days. Do You Assume or Believed It Literally 6 Days Also?

Genesis says that God created the World and all the things in 6 days. Do you assume or believed it literally 6 days also?

Yes, I believed it literally for 6 Days; with 24 hours each Day, as we experienced it today on this Earth. This is because the First Adam was made from the Physical Earth on the 6th Day of the Creation week. And the Physical Day is composed of 24 Hours.  

That is, when Adam was still in the Physical realm of the Dust of the Earth, he is Mortal and was subjected to the 24 hours duration of a Day. But, when God breathed unto Adam the NESHAMAH OF LIFE, Adam became an IMMORTAL Being of 1,000 years (Genesis 2:7). 
  • And The LORD God formed Man of the DUST OF THE GROUND, and breathed into his nostrils the BREATH (Heb. NESHAMAH) of LIFE; and MAN became a LIVING SOUL. (Gen 2:7 KJV) 
This is what 1Corinthians 15:46 says:
  • But NOT the Spiritual first, but the NATURAL (Physical); afterward the SPIRITUAL. (1Cor 15:46 MKJV) 
In other words, the Physical and Spiritual Creation of Man (The Microcosm Universe) is related to the Physical Time (24 Hours) and the Spiritual Time (1,000 Years) of the Macrocosm Universe (Genesis 1:31, 2:1-2, 1Corinthians 15:45-49).
  • It is written, "The FIRST MAN, ADAM, became a LIVING SOUL," the LAST ADAM (CHRIST) was a LIFE-GIVING SPIRIT. (1Cor 15:45 MKJV)
  • The FIRST MAN was out of Earth, earthy; the SECOND MAN was The LORD from Heaven. (1Cor 15:47 MKJV)
  • Such the Earthy Man, such also the Earthy ones. And such the Heavenly Man, such also the Heavenly ones. (1Cor 15:48 MKJV)
  • According as we bore the IMAGE of the EARTHY MAN, we shall also bear the IMAGE of the HEAVENLY MAN. (1Cor 15:49 MKJV)
Thus, when CHRIST became a Physical Human to save Mankind on Earth, He confirmed that there are 24 Hours in one Day; with 12 Hours of Daylight and 12 Hours of Darkness of the Night (John 11:9-10).
  • "Aren't there 12 HOURS in a day?" Jesus answered. "If anyone walks during the DAY, he doesn't stumble, because he sees the LIGHT of this world. (Joh 11:9 HCSB)
  • If anyone walks during the NIGHT, he does stumble, because the Light is not in him." (Joh 11:10 HCSB)
TO GOD, 1 DAY = 1,000 YEARS. And 1,000 YEARS = 1 DAY

In other words, to The Creator GOD, the TIME He created could be reversible. That is, in the Physical Dimension, One (1) Day = 24 Hours. But, in the SPIRITUAL Dimension, a DAY = One (1) Thousand years (Psalms 90:4, 2Peter 3:8).
  • For a THOUSAND YEARS in Your sight are AS YESTERDAY when it is past, and as a watch in the Night. (Psalms 90:4 MKJV)
  • Beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that ONE DAY is with The Lord as a THOUSAND YEARS, and a THOUSAND YEARS as ONE DAY. (2Peter 3:8 KJV) 
that one day is, with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day; referring either to Psa_90:4..."the day of the holy blessed God is a thousand years"; suggesting, that though between 30 and 40 years had elapsed since the promise was given out that Christ would come again, and should even a thousand, or two thousand years more, run off, before the coming of Christ, yet this should be no objection to the accomplishment of the promise; for though such a number of years is very considerable among men, ye not "with God", as the Arabic and Ethiopic versions read, with whom a thousand years, and even eternity itself, is but as a day, Isa_43:13. Unless this phrase should be thought to refer, as it is by some, to the day of judgment, and be expressive of the duration of that: it is certain that the Jews interpreted days of millenniums, and reckoned millenniums by days, and used this phrase in confirmation of it. 

Thus they say, "in the time to come, which is in the last days, on the sixth day, which is the sixth millennium, when the Messiah comes, for the day of the holy blessed God is a thousand years.'' 

"it is the tradition of the house of Elias, that the world shall be six thousand years, 2,000 years void (of the law), 2,000 years the law, and 2,000 years the days of the Messiah;'' for they suppose that the six days of the creation were expressive of the six thousand years in which the world will stand; and that the seventh day prefigures the last millennium, in which will be the day of judgment, and the world to come; 

for "the six days of the creation (they say) is a sign or intimation of these things: on the sixth day man was created; and on the seventh his work was finished; so the Kings of the Nations of the world (continue) 5 millenniums, answering to the 5 days, in which were created the fowls, and the creeping things of the waters, and other things; and the enjoyment of their kingdom is a little in the sixth, answerable to the creation of the beasts, and living creatures created at this time in the beginning of it; 

and the Kingdom of the House of David is in the 6th millennium, answerable to the creation of man, who knew his Creator, and ruled over them all; and in the end of that millennium will be the day of judgment, answerable to man, who was judged in the end of it; and the 7th is the Sabbath, and it is the beginning of the world to come.'' -- John GILL's Exposition of The Entire Bible

IN GENESIS, THE PHYSICAL 7 DAYS OF CREATION CAN EQUAL TO THE SPIRITUAL 7 MILLENNIUMS OF HUMAN HISTORY.
