Q573: People, Churches, and Religions Think That God is Like A Genie That Grant Their Prayers?

In short to say po, yung iba gusto is a Genie-like God na kapag nagpray, gusto ang sagot ni God yung way na gusto nila. Correct me po if I am wrong.

Lope Columna Tama ka, Arlene. Yes, many Christians are praying and expect God to be a "powerful Genie" that always grant their wishes. Instead of granting the WISH OF GOD (that they should repent and return to Him), they want their own selfish ways to be granted by God. 

So, even this subject of Prayer many people have corrupted to their own destruction! The deception of Religion were  rooted so deep in the Minds and Hearts of Billions of Christians, Jews, their Churches and other World Religions!

THE BITTER PILL OF TRUTH ABOUT PRAYERS THAT EVERYONE SHOULD SWALLOW! 

The bitter Truth is hard to swallow by most Christians who make Prayers and Amen just like a commercial medicine tablet that they can always procure in a drugstore to alleviate their sufferings, and to satisfy their desires. Thus, Prayer becomes their instant medicine for whatever trouble they may be in, or to help their friends and loved ones. And they think that God is always obligated to answer their prayers, even misquoting Scriptures to justify this habit.

Yes, it is a good habit to always pray. But, this "good habit" can be deceiving and destructive if you don't know the requirements of an ACCEPTABLE PRAYER, because not every prayer is acceptable to God!

An acceptable prayer is the Prayer that makes you and the people you pray for, RETURN TO GOD AND BE CLOSE TO HIM. Prayer is not just an Escape Mechanism, or a Safety Measure to avoid Disasters. God is a GOD OF JUSTICE, and NO PRAYER can remove that Justice or Judgment without REPENTANCE and RETURN TO GOD! This means that God will not answer every prayer that does not comply with such requirements (Proverbs 1:27-28).

• When CALAMITY OVERTAKES YOU LIKE A STORM, when your disaster comes on LIKE A WHIRLWIND; when distress and anguish come on you. (Pro 1:27 HNV)

• Then will THEY CALL ON ME, but I WILL NOT ANSWER. They will SEEK ME DILIGENTLY, but they will NOT FIND ME; (Pro 1:28 HNV) 

WHY?

• because they hated [MESSIANIC KABBALAH] KNOWLEDGE, and didn't choose The FEAR OF THE LORD. (Pro 1:29 HNV)

• THEY WANTED NONE OF MY COUNSEL. They despised all My Reproof. (Pro 1:30 HNV)
