Do we have to follow the 613 Commandments/(Torah)?

Yes, Christians and Jews must strive to obey God's 613 Commandments given to Mankind. The 613 Commandments are composed of the 365 NEGATIVE Commandments, which coincides with the number of days in the solar year; and the 248 POSITIVE Commandments, a number equivalent to the number of Bones and main organs in the Human Body.

 Why Was MANKIND Created? WHY 613?

• I have made the EARTH, and CREATED MAN UPON IT: I, even my hands, have stretched out the HEAVENS, and all their Host have I commanded. (Isa 45:12 KJV)

The numeric value of the Hebrew word “CREATED” (barati—בראתי) is 613. This means that the very purpose for which God “made the Earth and created Man” is to Fulfill His 613 Commandments (HaYom Yom, 22 Cheshvan).
 
In other words, Isaiah 45:12 means, "I made this (physical) world and upon it created (barati) man." Man is the end-purpose of Creation, and barati is the end-purpose of man. (Barati, "I created," has the numerical equivalent of 613). 

The LAW (Torah) that Moses commanded is a legacy for the congregation of Jacob (Deuteronomy 33:4).

• MOSES COMMANDED US A LAW, even the INHERITANCE of the CONGREGATION of JACOB. (Deu 33:4 KJV)

In Hebrew, the word Torah (תורה) has the numerical value of 611. Thus, the 611 Commandments of God were instructed to us via Moses, while the First Two (2) of the Ten Commandments were said directly by God, totaling 613.

And, because of the LACK of Knowledge of God's MESSIANIC KABBALAH WISDOM, God's People are destroyed as they FORGOT God's LAW (Hosea 4:6).

This is the main reason why in the last Book of the Old Testament, God commanded each of us to "REMEMBER (and OBEY)" the FORGOTTEN Mosaic Law, Statutes, and Judgments" (Malachi 4:4). 

• REMEMBER YE THE LAW OF MOSES My Servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, WITH the STATUTES and JUDGMENTS. (Mal 4:4 KJV)

Otherwise, SINS will continue to deceive Mankind resulting to the continuing DEATH and DESTRUCTION of People (Genesis 2:17, Proverbs 14:12, 16:25, Hosea 4:6).

THE COMPLETE OBEDIENCE TO ALL OF GOD'S 613 COMMANDMENTS IS APPLICABLE ONLY INSIDE JERUSALEM (Upper NEW JERUSALEM & Lower Jerusalem) 

There are 26 commands that apply only within the Land of Israel. Furthermore, there are some time-related commandments from which women are exempt (examples include shofar, sukkah, lulav, tzitzit and tefillin). Some depend on the special status of a person in Judaism (such as kohanim), while others apply only to men or only to women.

That is, there are some Commandments out of the 613 that are applicable ONLY while one is living INSIDE JERUSALEM. That is, ALL the 613 Commandments of the Mosaic Law, Statutes, and Judgments are applicable only when you are inside Jerusalem. These include some of the Commandments about Marriage, Kingship, and Government. But, everyone must strive to obey the TEN COMMANDMENTS wherever they are.
 
And because every Christian is not living inside Jerusalem, and because of the weakness of the flesh; no one except Jesus Christ, who is The Messianic Kabbalah Wisdom in Person, is able to obey them all. That's why we need Christ as our Personal Savior with the complete obedience of Christ to the 613 Commandments and submission to the WILL of GOD The FATHER (1Corinthians 1:30).

• …you are in Christ Jesus, who of God is MADE TO US [MESSIANIC KABBALAH] WISDOM and Righteousness and Sanctification and Redemption; (1Cor 1:30 MKJV) 

1Corinthians 1:30 makes every Human Being potentially qualified to be Saved by Christ. SALVATION/REDEMPTION by Christ means that Christ's complete OBEDIENCE to the 613 Commandments was imputed to each of those who repented and were purified by obedience to MESSIANIC KABBALAH WISDOM of God's Laws, Commandments, Statutes, and Judgments (Malachi 4:4, John 8:42, 14:15, Colossians 2:9-10).

• For in Him dwells ALL THE FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD BODILY. (Col 2:9 MKJV)

• And YOU ARE COMPLETE IN HIM, who is the Head of all Principality and Power, (Col 2:10 MKJV)
