Q475: Should We Equal Sabbath Changes To That of The Changes of The Ordinary 6 Days?

In 6 Days of the Week, Change in conduct becomes the norm, not just on Sabbaths.

When one accepts Jesus into his or her heart to be his or her personal Savior and Lord of his or her life, change occurs (2Corinthians 5:17).  

• Therefore IF ANY MAN BE IN CHRIST, HE IS A NEW CREATURE: old things are passed away; behold, ALL THINGS ARE BECOME NEW. (2Cor 5:17 KJV)

The Changes required by God every Sabbath are different Changes compared to that of the other 6 mundane days. In other words, we must not equal Sabbath Changes to that of the Changes of the Ordinary Days. The following are the explanations:

God commands all of us to:

• REMEMBER the SABBATH Day, to KEEP IT HOLY (Exodus 20:8 KJV). We are commanded by God to REMEMBER because Mankind, using his own fallen Human Reasoning, had forgotten the real purpose and meaning of God's Sabbaths.

• The SEVENTH DAY is the SABBATH OF THE LORD thy God: in it THOU SHALT NOT DO ANY WORK, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: (Exo 20:10 KJV) 

Exodus 20:8, 10 are not applicable to the other 6 days of the Week (Exodus 20:9).

• SIX DAYS SHALT THOU LABOUR, and DO ALL THY WORK: (Exo 20:9 KJV)

The other major differences of the 7th Day Sabbath are:

1. The 7th Day Sabbath is called Sabbath because it is the Sabbath of God Himself, NOT Man's. Thus, everyone must properly observe the Sabbaths according to God; NOT according to Man's private interpretations (Exodus 20:10, 2Peter 1:20-21).

2. The 7th Day Sabbath is the only day in the week that was sanctified and blessed by God (Exodus 20:11).

• for in SIX DAYS The LORD MADE HEAVEN and EARTH, the SEA, and all that is in them, and rested the 7th Day; therefore the LORD BLESSED THE DAY OF SHABBAT, and MADE IT HOLY. (Exo 20:11 HNV) 

Thus, I hope that this explanation clarify your statement, "In 6 Days of the Week, Change in conduct becomes the norm, not just on Sabbaths."

To summarize: A True Christian is a changed person, but every Sabbath he/she is elevated and changes even more. This is because the Heavenly Sabbath is much HIGHER than the other 6 Earthly Days (Isaiah 55:8-9).
